Yes. AC repair is one of our core services. We diagnose and repair air conditioning systems that are not cooling properly, will not start, cycle incorrectly, make unusual noises, or experience other performance problems.
Yes. Our HVAC technicians perform AC diagnostics and troubleshooting to determine why your system is not cooling properly. The problem could involve electrical components, airflow, controls, refrigerant-related issues, mechanical components, or another part of the system.
An AC system can run without cooling properly for several reasons. Rather than guessing from the symptom alone, we inspect and test the system to identify the actual cause before recommending repairs.
Yes. A system that will not start may have an electrical, thermostat, control, safety, or component problem. We troubleshoot the system to determine what is preventing it from operating.
Yes. We diagnose and repair HVAC-related electrical problems, including failed electrical components, wiring issues, fuses, controls, and other problems affecting system operation.
We diagnose compressor-related problems and other major AC component failures. Because several issues can produce similar symptoms, we test the system before determining whether the compressor or another component is responsible.
Common warning signs include warm air, weak airflow, unusual noises, frequent cycling, uneven temperatures, difficulty reaching the thermostat setting, electrical problems, or an air conditioner that will not turn on.
Yes. We provide air conditioning maintenance, AC tune-ups, inspections, and preventive service designed to identify developing problems and help the system operate properly during Arizona’s demanding cooling season.
Regular HVAC maintenance is especially important in Arizona because air conditioning systems operate for long periods during the warmer months. Routine inspections can identify worn components and performance problems before they become larger repairs.
AC maintenance generally involves inspecting the system, checking operating performance, examining important components, and looking for conditions that could affect cooling, efficiency, or reliability.
Maintenance cannot guarantee that an AC system will never break down, but it can help identify developing problems before they cause larger failures. Preventive service can also help support system performance and efficiency.
Yes. We provide AC installation and air conditioning replacement for homes throughout Glendale and the Phoenix Valley. Our services include new AC installation, system replacement, split-system installation, equipment changeouts, start-up, and system testing.
The answer depends on the condition of the system, what has failed, repair cost, equipment age, efficiency, overall reliability, and the likelihood of additional problems. We diagnose the system first and explain the available repair-versus-replacement options.
No. Age is only one factor. Our approach is to determine what is actually wrong with the equipment before recommending a repair or replacement.
An AC replacement typically involves removing the existing equipment, installing the appropriate new system, completing necessary connections, starting the system, and testing its operation and performance.
Yes. We provide heating diagnostics, troubleshooting, electrical repairs, component replacement, heat pump repair, and heating system inspections.
Heating problems can come from electrical issues, controls, failed components, airflow problems, ignition issues, or other system failures. A proper diagnostic inspection helps determine what is actually causing the problem.
Yes. We provide furnace repair for electrical problems, ignition issues, blower motor failures, component problems, and other furnace performance concerns.
Yes. We can diagnose a furnace that is not starting or producing heat. We inspect the system to identify the source of the failure before recommending repairs.
Yes. We provide heating system installation and replacement, including heat pump installation and equipment changeouts. The system is started and tested after installation to confirm proper operation.
Yes. We provide heating maintenance, furnace tune-ups, inspections, preventive service, and performance testing to help identify issues before you need the system during cooler weather.
Yes. Amigos Air Cooling and Heating provides heat pump installation, repair, maintenance, replacement, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
A traditional central air conditioner provides cooling, while a heat pump can provide both cooling and heating by transferring heat in different directions depending on the season.
Yes. We provide ductless mini split installation for homeowners who need efficient heating and cooling in individual rooms, additions, converted spaces, or areas where traditional ductwork may not be practical.
Yes. We diagnose and repair mini split systems experiencing cooling, heating, electrical, control, or performance problems.
We can evaluate the property and determine whether a single-zone or multi-zone mini split configuration makes sense based on the areas that need heating and cooling.
Yes. We provide ductwork inspections, duct installation, and duct replacement services. Proper ductwork is important for distributing conditioned air throughout the home.
Yes. Damaged, disconnected, poorly designed, or deteriorated ductwork can reduce airflow and contribute to uneven temperatures or poor HVAC performance.
Yes. Not every cooling problem originates with the AC equipment itself. Airflow restrictions and ductwork problems can sometimes create symptoms that resemble an equipment failure, which is why accurate diagnostics are important.
Yes. Amigos Air Cooling and Heating provides commercial HVAC installation, replacement, repair, diagnostics, maintenance, and inspections for qualifying commercial properties throughout the Phoenix Valley.
Yes. We provide commercial AC repair and HVAC diagnostics for businesses experiencing cooling problems, equipment failures, electrical issues, and other HVAC performance concerns.
Yes. Commercial HVAC maintenance can include preventive inspections, performance checks, AC maintenance, heating maintenance, and evaluations designed to identify developing equipment problems.
Yes. Proper diagnostics are a major part of our approach. We want to determine what is actually wrong with the HVAC system before recommending repairs, replacement, or additional work.
Different HVAC problems can produce similar symptoms. Accurate diagnostics help identify the actual failure so repairs can address the underlying problem instead of replacing parts unnecessarily.
Yes. We can explain the condition of the system, what needs repair, and factors that may make replacement worth considering. The final decision remains yours, and our goal is to provide the information needed to make it confidently.
