Amigos Air Cooling and Heating serves homeowners in Old Town Peoria, Fletcher Heights, Westbrook Village, Vistancia and Trilogy, as well as businesses across Peoria. Long cooling seasons, extreme heat and dust put local equipment to the test.
Our services include air conditioning, ductless mini splits, heating, heat pumps, furnaces, ductwork and commercial HVAC. We start with diagnostics and performance testing before recommending work.
From a targeted repair to full system replacement, we evaluate the equipment first and explain what makes sense for your home.
A proper AC installation starts with equipment suited to your home’s cooling needs, followed by correct connections, airflow checks, start-up and performance testing. We handle central AC, split systems, changeouts and replacement. When an older system becomes unreliable, we compare repair costs and long-term value before recommending new equipment.
Warm air, weak airflow, short cycling, unusual noises and uneven temperatures can have several causes. We inspect the condenser, thermostat, wiring, electrical components, motors and airflow, then explain what failed and the repair options. Service can include fuse or component replacement, compressor evaluation and blower motor inspection.
Preventive service helps find developing problems before a breakdown in Peoria’s hottest weather. Electrical inspections, airflow checks, thermostat testing, component evaluation and performance testing help maintain dependable operation.
Ductless systems can provide targeted heating and cooling for additions, garages, guest rooms and homes without traditional ductwork. We assess the space and existing equipment before recommending installation, repair or maintenance.
AC problems can begin with electrical failures, thermostat trouble, restricted airflow, worn motors or condenser issues. Similar symptoms can point to different repairs.
We test the system to identify what failed and what caused the problem. Then we explain the findings, the repair options and whether the rest of the equipment is in condition to keep serving your home.
Peoria is known for summer heat, but dependable heating matters on cold desert nights and winter mornings.
We install and replace residential furnaces, heat pumps and other heating equipment, with start-up and performance testing. Before recommending replacement, we consider age, condition, repair history and expected remaining service life.
When heating will not start, produces weak heat, cycles repeatedly or makes unusual sounds, we test the system to find the cause. Service includes heat pump diagnostics, electrical and thermostat testing, blower motor inspection and component replacement.
Seasonal inspections help prepare heating equipment for cold desert mornings. We check electrical components, thermostat response, airflow and operating performance to identify wear before it causes a failure.
Heat pumps provide both heating and cooling. We inspect and service components, electrical controls and system operation, then explain repair, maintenance or replacement options based on the equipment’s condition.
Furnaces may fail because of ignition, electrical, thermostat, blower motor or other component issues. We troubleshoot gas and electric furnaces, inspect the equipment and explain the appropriate repair.
Disconnected, damaged or poorly designed ducts can lead to uneven rooms and weak airflow. We inspect the duct system and explain whether repair, replacement or new installation is appropriate.
Commercial equipment has different operating demands from residential systems. We evaluate the property and equipment before recommending installation, repair or maintenance.
We assess the property’s heating and cooling needs, existing equipment and system requirements before recommending and installing commercial equipment.
We troubleshoot rooftop units and other commercial heating and cooling equipment, identify the source of the failure and explain repair options.
Inspections, operational checks and performance testing help businesses identify developing problems and plan for dependable equipment operation.
Not every HVAC problem requires new equipment. A focused repair can restore reliable operation when the rest of the system is in good condition.
Replacement may be worth considering after recurring failures, a major repair, poor efficiency or when equipment is approaching the end of its expected service life. We consider age, condition, repair cost, performance and service history before explaining your options.
You get the information to make a decision without unnecessary pressure.
